Prirodne znamenitosti

• Park prirode Učka

  Park prirode Učka obuhvaća istoimenu planinu i dio područja Ćićarije, a smješten je uz obalu sjevernog Jadrana na jednoj od najsjevernijih točaka Mediterana, te veže Istru i kontinentalni dio Hrvatske.

• Kopački rit Nature Park

  Kopački rit Nature Park is situated in the northeastern part of the Republic of Croatia, i.e. on the wider geographical area of eastern Croatia. Geographically speaking, Kopački rit is the flat part of Baranja, belonging to Osječko-baranja County, mainly lowland situated between the Drava and Danube rivers and the state border with the Republic of Hungary. It stretches from the northern part of the Drava where the mouth of the Drava flows into the Danube and upstream on the left and right banks of the Danube towards the former Kazuk port. The state border towards the Republic of Serbia designated the Nature Park's eastern border.

• National park Brijuni

  The present day boundaries of the National Park were set in 1999 and comprise the land, the surrounding sea with the seabed and cover an area of 33.9km2. The length of the coastline of all the islands is 46.8 km. The most indented islands are Veliki Brijun (25.9km) and Mali Brijun (8.3km). The shores are mostly low and rocky but easily accessible due to the horizontal stratification of the rocks, and in some bays pebbles and sand can be found.

• Zrmanja

  Zrmanja izvire ispod planine Poštak u južnom dijelu Like na visini od 395 m, a ulijeva se u Jadransko more 12 kilometara od Obrovca. Zrmanja je duga 69 km. Kada je nabujala pruža nam jedan od najboljih raftinga u ovom dijelu Europe (a i šire). A kada se smiri, postaje ljepotica koja nas lagano nosi kroz krajolike koji oduzimaju dah svojom ljepotom.

• Vransko jezero

  Dominantna karakteristika Parka je Posebni ornitološki rezervat koji je zbog svoje očuvanosti velikog tršćaka na SZ dijelu jezera kao rijetkog močvarnog sustava, velike bioraznolikosti, izuzetne znanstvene i ekološke vrijednosti još 1983. g. dobio taj status te je uvršten u listu važnih ornitoloških područja u Europi (Important Bird Areas in Europe).

• Plitvička jezera

  Najistaknutiji i najposjećeniji među osam nacionalnih parkova u Hrvatskoj - Plitvička jezera, je jedina prirodna, u društvu kulturnih vrijednosti, u Hrvatskoj uvrštena u Popis svjetske baštine (UNESCO) i to još 1979. godine, među prvima u svijetu.
